PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNGEN KURZBESCHREIBUNG 180 gram audiophile vinyl / Vinyl reissue from the acclaimed Belgian jazz fusion band BIOGRAPHIE DER MITWIRKENDEN The acclaimed Belgian jazz fusion band signed to Harvest and CBS in the 1970's Placebo quickly became known for the unique mixture of jazz, soul, rock, funk and lots of electronic sounds. Their leader Marc Moulin was the first Belgian to ever own a Moog synthesizer. Placebo recorded three albums during the seventies: 'Ball Of Eyes', '1973' and 'Placebo'. All now on 180g vinyl The '1973' album continues in the same vein as 'Ball of Eyes', though it's definitely more funky and head boppin' than the debut. The real ear grabber is the superb Moog soloing by Moulin. Original copies of '1973' are in short supply and overwhelming demand, making this first ever official reissue a much needed one. Sampled by J Dilla amongst others.
